Join us for a Natural Plant Dye Workshop
In this 2-hour intro to herbalism workshop with herbalist Maria Fernanda of Blue Hour & Natural Hour Goods, you'll discover the magic of natural dyeing, textile painting, and eco printing. This hands-on experience will awaken your creativity and connection to the earth’s offerings as you explore the vibrant colors nature provides, many of which are native LA plants growing all over.
What to Expect:
• Learn the complete process of natural dyeing, from fabric preparation to using mordants to extract rich plant dyes
• Get hands-on with seasonal herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables to create your own one-of-a-kind bundle-dyed silk scarf
• Dive into the history, energetics, and medicinal properties of the herbs we’ll work with
• Walk away with a downloadable PDF of all course materials to continue your dyeing journey at home
